GREENBURGH, N.Y. - A section of Payne Street underneath the Sprain Brook Parkway in Elmsford will be closed for emergency work this week, lasting until Christmas Eve.
According to Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner, beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, through approximately 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24, the segment of roadway will be closed to traffic, with two daily exceptions.
Each day, the road will be reopened from 6 to 8:45 a.m. and from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
Feiner noted that since this was a last minute emergency closure, the state has notified the Greenburgh, Elmsford and Mount Pleasant Police Departments.
