A crash that initially blocked the left lane on a stretch of I-287 caused heavy delays Wednesday morning.
The 8:45 a.m. crash, on the eastbound side, was at Exit 4 (Route 100A/Knollwood Road), and moved to the shoulder by 9:30 a.m.
