A Long Island man will spend more than a decade in prison for a violent crime spree in Westchester County, including a hate-fueled assault on an Asian store owner and robberies targeting multiple victims, officials announced. A Long Island man faces a boatload of charges after allegedly stabbing a store clerk during a robbery, mugging a passerby, and then breaking into a Westchester home with two young children inside, police said. The one-man crime spree began on Thursday, March 16 around 3:45 p.m., when police responded to a convenience store in New Rochelle at 683 Main St. that had been robbed.
