A convicted felon nearly died from an overdose after taking New York State Police troopers on a high-speed chase through Northern Westchester.
Troopers from the Cortlandt barracks and the FBI's’ Safe Streets Task Force attempted to stop Brooklyn resident Patrick Williams, 31, at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Route 9 in Cortlandt, when he committed a vehicle and traffic violation.

Visitors to a Sunoco gas station in Westchester might have done a double take if they happened to catch a view of a large naked man dancing in the parking lot.
The man, who police did not identify, but said was from Hobe Sound, Florida, was arrested around 10:10 p.m., on Tuesday, June 11, when officers responded to a 911 call from the gas station in the village of Mamaroneck at 540 Mamaroneck Ave., who reported a man was acting "erratically," said Mamaroneck Police Lt. State Police apprehended four men who are facing multiple charges for allegedly possessing a loaded handgun in addition to cocaine and marijuana in a traffic stop.
The arrests occurred on Broadway in the city of Newburgh on Saturday, Dec. 8. The police’s interview with the vehicle’s driver, Juan R. Murillo, 28, of Newburgh, gave them probable cause to conduct a search.

Four Accused Dealers Caught With Heroin, Crack In Ardsley Stop
Two men and two women accused of drug dealing were allegedly found with crack, heroin, ketamine, and marijuana during a traffic stop in Westchester, state police said.
The stop occurred on I-87 just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5 in Ardsley. After the stop, troopers determined the driver, 25-year-old Joshua D. Allen of Augusta, Maine, gave them probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants.
During the search, police say they discovered a syringe containing heroin, a glass smoking device with burnt crack residue, about 194 grams of ketamine, and 19.78 grams of marijuana.

Man In Disabled Vehicle On I-84 Caught With Stolen, Loaded Gun, Police Say
A 61-year-old man was sent to jail after state police, who came to the aid of his disabled vehicle, say they discovered he had a stolen, loaded pistol as well as marijuana and charged him with three felonies.
Troopers observed the vehicle on I-84 in the Town of Southeast on Saturday, May 26 at approximately 11:30 p.m.

Two men were busted by New York State Police troopers with 10 pounds of marijuana and more than $3,500 in cash after running out of gas on I-87 in the Hudson Valley.
Troopers stopped to assist New Haven, Conn. residents Rojay Kidd, 24 and Jason Blair, 27, shortly after 2:45 p.m. on Monday afternoon, after spotting them on the side of the interstate in Clarkstown.
