Melon Recalled Due To Salmonella Outbreak A recall has been issued for melon products sold in 16 states, including New York, after being linked to a salmonella outbreak, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.  Ninety-three people were infected, 23 of whom were hospitalized. Salads, Wraps Sold By Trader Joe's, Walgreens, Other Stores Recalled Some salad and wrap products from several large retailers, including Trader Joe's and Walgreens, have been recalled due to concerns of Cyclospora contamination, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced. The beef, pork and poultry salad and wrap products were distributed by Caito Foods LLC. The problem was discovered when Caito Foods received notification from its lettuce supplier, Fresh Express, that the chopped romaine that is used to manufacture some of their salads and wraps was being recalled. Trader Joe's Starts Expansion At Hartsdale Store Trader Joe's Hartsdale store is starting work on a 4,000-square-foot expansion at 215 North Central Ave. while construction of a Shake Shack wraps up nearby.       They have begun fencing off the area for the expansion.  Westchester Square shopping center has received permission for an entry on Dalewood Avenue which could be coming soon as well.
