Renovated Hartsdale Train Station Includes New Elevator, Heated Seating Area
After decades of requests from commuters and town officials, an all-new elevator and other renovations have been made to a well-traveled train station in Westchester. The renovations have been made by the MTA to the Hartsdale Train Station, Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner announced on Monday, Dec. 25. Upside Of Another Heat Wave: Greenburgh Pools Stay Open This Week
Baby, it's still hot outside. But that's good news for Town of Greenburgh residents and their guests. This summer's fourth official heat wave prompted town officials to extend pool hours at AF Veteran Park on Tuesday, Sept. 4 and Wednesday, Sept. 5. The kiddy pool and lap pool at AF Veteran park will be Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6:45 p.m due to the relentless hot weather, according to Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner. Defunct Company Donates 105 Bikes To Greenburgh, Bike Share Deal In Motion
One of the two bike-share companies that offered Westchester residents the opportunity to rent bicycles in White Plains -- named oFo -- swiftly closed down their operation. They left over 105 bicycles near the White Plains train station and advised the Cycle Club of Westchester that they would like to donate the bicycles to those who can’t afford a bicycle. On Friday, July 27 the Town of Greenburgh picked up the bicycles and stored them. The apps on the oFo bicycles have been removed. State Judge Asks For Meeting On Edgemont Becoming A Village, 2nd Lawsuit
A state judge handling the Town of Greenburgh's litigation with Edgemont residents over their desire to create a new village has called for a meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 13. In the meantime, the town has filed a notice of appeal to protect its interests until there is a clear indication of how to proceed, according to Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner. Hartsdale Massage Parlor Shuts Down Shortly After Reopening
An employee at a controversial Hartsdale spa is facing a charge claiming that she was operating her business without a proper license. Members of the Greenburgh Street Crime Unit and Drug and Alcohol Task Force completed an investigation this week that led to the arrest of Xiaonu Jin, 54, who was charged with unauthorized practice of a profession while operating Forest Yin Spa on Central Park Avenue.
