Upside Of Another Heat Wave: Greenburgh Pools Stay Open This Week Baby, it's still hot outside. But that's good news for Town of Greenburgh residents and their guests.  This summer's fourth official heat wave prompted town officials to extend pool hours at AF Veteran Park on Tuesday, Sept. 4 and Wednesday, Sept. 5. The kiddy pool and lap pool at AF Veteran park will be Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6:45 p.m due to the relentless hot weather, according to Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner. Defunct Company Donates 105 Bikes To Greenburgh, Bike Share Deal In Motion One of the two bike-share companies that offered Westchester residents the opportunity to rent bicycles in White Plains -- named oFo -- swiftly closed down their operation.  They left over 105 bicycles near the White Plains train station and advised the Cycle Club of Westchester that they would like to donate the bicycles to those who can’t afford a bicycle.  On Friday, July 27 the Town of Greenburgh picked up the bicycles and stored them.
