6-Year-Old Killed After Being Struck By Bus On Christmas Morning In Hudson Valley
This story has been updated. A 6-year-old was killed after reportedly being struck by a school bus in a Christmas morning tragedy in the Hudson Valley. The incident happened around 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25 in Orange County on Seven Springs Mountain Road in the town of Palm Tree. State Police said that an investigation revealed that a yellow 2022 Blue Bird Bus from EMESS Transportation was traveling northeast when the child ran into the roadway in front of the bus at which time he was struck. School Issued Cease-And-Desist Letter For Illegally Reopening In Hudson Valley
A Hudson Valley school was ordered to close this week after “hundreds” of students were reportedly found inside the building without proper personal protective equipment against state orders. The Orange County Health Department served a cease-and-desist letter to the United Talmudical Academy (UTA) of Kiryas Joel Boys School in Palm Tree after officials visited the school with New York State Police troopers and found “what appeared to be hundreds of students inside.” According to reports, the students were not socially distancing or wearing PPE, both against New York Gov.
