A Putnam County man faces charges after allegedly pointing a firearm at another driver while calling him a racial slur in Westchester, police said.
The arrest resulted from an incident in Yorktown at around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, when New York State Police relayed a report about a road rage incident in Yorktown, according to the Yorktown Police Department.
Officers determined that the altercation had taken place on Route 6, but both people involved were found in the area of 302 Somers Commons.

17-Year-Old Accused Of Raping Victim At Knifepoint In Westchester
A teenager was apprehended after allegedly luring a victim to his Northern Westchester home and raping them at knifepoint, police announced.
The 17-year-old suspect, whose name was not released because of their age, was arrested at his Yorktown home on Sunday, Sept. 22 in connection with an incident that happened the day before, Yorktown Police said on Tuesday, Sept. 24.
According to the department, an investigation revealed that on Saturday, Sept. 21, the suspect convinced the victim to come to his home on false pretenses, restrained them, and raped them at knifepoint.

Man Rams Car, Threatens Driver In Westchester, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after allegedly ramming the rear of a vehicle and threatening the driver with an edged weapon following a road rage incident.
The incident took place in Westchester County around 2:25 p.m., Friday, July 21 on I-87 in the city of Yonkers.
According to Trooper Tara McCormick, an investigation determined that Ruben D. Luciano, age 48, of the village of Florida, in Orange County, rear-ended a vehicle following a road rage incident, in which he reportedly exited his vehicle and threatened the other driver with an edged weapon.

Westchester Man Nabbed Hiding In Shed Following Robbery, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man was captured hiding in a shed after allegedly robbing an area gas station.
Daniel Davis, age 39, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on Sunday, March 6, after allegedly robbing the Speedway Gas Station in the village of Mamaroneck.
The incident took place around 4:30 a.m. when officers responded to the gas station located at 731 Mamaroneck Ave., for a hold-up alarm, said Lt. Mark Gatta, of the Mamaroneck Police.
