Alert Issued For Missing White Plains Man Last Seen At Gym In Westchester
Authorities are asking residents to be on the lookout for a missing man who was last seen at a gym in Westchester. White Plains resident Fernando Manon, age 69, was last seen on Thursday, Jan. 18 around 5:45 p.m. in Harrison at the Lifetime Fitness located at 1 Westchester Park Dr., Harrison Police announced. Manon, who suffers from dementia, was on foot and was seen headed in the direction of westbound Westchester Avenue. He has no access to a vehicle or cell phone. New York State Homes and Community Renewal and Wilder Balter Partners announced the completion of a $21 million affordable housing development in the Chappaqua section of the Town of New Castle. Opening Date Now Scheduled For New Westchester Whole Foods Store
Whole Foods has set a target date of Wednesday, Nov. 7 for its grand opening at Chappaqua Crossing, according to New Castle Supervisor Robert Greenstein. Greenstein called it good news for the mixed use development at the former Reader's Digest headquarters since other potential tenants will likely begin signing leases, including a coffee shop, pet store and bank.
