Wegmans will open its Norwalk location on Wednesday, July 23, the company said in a news release on Monday, Feb. 10. The highly anticipated 92,000-square-foot store at 675 Connecticut Avenue will open at 9 a.m. The store will employ about 500 people, with hiring already underway for part- and full-time positions across all departments. Wegmans Food Markets announced on Monday, April 25 that it will be opening the store in Suffolk County, in Lake Grove, a village in the Town of Brookhaven.
