A 52-year-old man went missing in the region on Christmas Day and authorities are asking for the public's help in locating him. Martin Pineiro Rabade, a resident of Saugerties in Ulster County, was last seen in his green Jeep Wrangler at about noontime on Monday, Dec. 25 in Rensselaer County in the town of Castleton-on-Hudson. The Wrangler has a New York registration of HZH-8304. Two out-of-state murder suspects were apprehended in the Hudson Valley by the New York State Police after receiving a tip that a Jeep they were traveling in was spotted in New York. Woman Killed Crossing Busy Hudson Valley Roadway, Police Say
A woman was killed after she was struck by a Jeep Wrangler crossing a busy roadway. The incident took place around 3:15 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1 in Dutchess County in the City of Beacon. The woman was crossing Main Street and Teller Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle, said Detective Sergeant Jason Johnson, of the City of Beacon Police. Westchester Man Nabbed For Felony DWI After Separates Crashes, State Police Say
A Westchester man was arrested for felony DWI after a hit-and-run and then a crash on I-287. Florencio Diaz, age 39, of Yonkers, was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 9, after New York State Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash in the village of Elmsford, said the state police. A preliminary investigation found that Diaz reportedly sideswiped a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. A man in his early 20s is wanted by investigators in Westchester after allegedly being caught masturbating in public after stoping his Jeep, police said. Scarsdale Det. Lt.
