The incident happened around 2 a.m. Saturday, March 9 in Westbury. Westchester Man Charged With Attempting To Scam Victim Of $5K A fraudster in Westchester attempted to bilk a man on Long Island out of $5,000, but was ultimately outfoxed and tracked down by police. Yonkers resident Hanlet Cabrera, 41, allegedly called an 87-year-old man in Franklin Square on Friday, Nov. 15 last year, identifying himself as the man’s grandson, Nassau County Police said. Cabrera said that he needed $5,000 for bail following an alleged arrest and would be contacted by an attorney.
