Four people were slapped with criminal charges after entering a Westchester supermarket with a child, filling their carts with merchandise, and leaving without trying to pay, police announced.
The arrests follow an incident on Saturday, Aug. 24 that happened at Wegmans in Harrison at 106 Corporate Park Dr., near the junction of I-684 and I-287, Harrison Police announced on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

A Hudson Valley man charged with raping a minor was caught after fleeing out of state, police said.
On Sunday, Oct. 16, police started investigating allegations that Orange County resident Jesus Torres, age 31, of Goshen, had sexual conduct with a child less than 13 years old, and learned that he had fled the state to avoid being arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 18, according to New York State Police.

Mount Vernon resident Tony Clark has been charged in a 15-count indictment for stalking and harassing a former partner on four separate occasions, including incidents where he set fire to her home and endangered her child.
