12 Westchester Residents Charged In State Police New Year's DWI Details New York State Police troopers busted two dozen local motorists over the New Year holiday weekend who were allegedly driving while impaired in the area. The local residents charged were: Westchester County On Saturday, Dec. 29, State Police troopers from Brewster arrested Gideon Taub, 28, of Dobbs Ferry, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 22 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested. Taub was also arrested on Dec. 22, 2018, for DWI after being stopped on Ro…

Starbucks Opening In Elmsford Starbucks lovers will have a new place to check out in Westchester. The coffee giant has signed a 10-year-lease to open at 280 East Main Street in Elmsford. The 2,200 square foot store will also feature a drive-thru. The store is expected to open in the spring. The Starbucks is part of the Apex at 290 property, an 81-unit residential development.
