Two people were busted for alleged felony cocaine possession during a routine traffic stop by New York State Police in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 9:20 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 30, in East Fishkill. According to Trooper AJ Hicks, members of the department's Community Stabilization Unit conducted a traffic stop of a 2020 BMW 530 Series on the Taconic State Parkway for violations of the vehicle and traffic laws. This story has been updated. The name has been released of a teenage boy who was killed in a fatal shooting in Northern Westchester that led to a 12-hour manhunt and the arrest of a suspect. A man faces charges after allegedly stealing political campaign signs from a residence in the region, authorities announced. Putnam County resident Lucas Gonze, age 59, of of Cold Spring, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 17 following an incident in Philipstown, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday, Oct. 21. According to authorities, on Thursday at around 3:20 p.m., a resident in the area of Route 9D near Mandalay Drive saw someone take campaign signs.
