9/11 Memorial Falling Apart In Hartsdale: Officials To Come Up With New Replacement Officials are coming up with a new plan to replace a 9/11 memorial at a public park in Westchester that has started falling apart.  The People's 9/11 Memorial Wall, located in Hartsdale at Richard Presser Park on Central Avenue, has begun deteriorating, according to Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.  The memorial, which was built in 2003 after a collaboration between the town of Greenburgh and Arts Westchester, consists of around 1,800 ceramic tiles from an art workshop that were affixed to a wall.  According to Feiner, many of these tiles began falling off the wa…

According to Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner, residents were disappointed and missed the beloved bookstore on Central Avene in Hartsdale, a hamlet of Greenburgh. Feiner said the company has signed a lease at the Dalewood Shopping Center in the 12,490-square-foot space, formerly occupied by Mrs. Green's Market. The Westchester County resident won his prize on a $10,000 a Week for Life scratch-off ticket that he purchased at A-Plus on Central Avenue in Hartsdale. The lucky guy opted to take the full pay-out of $10 million.
