Lane Closures: Busy Bridge Over I-95 To Be Affected
Traffic on a stretch of Interstate 95 that is currently in a major three-year construction project will soon be slowed by a series of lane closures in Westchester. The North Avenue bridge running over I-95 in New Rochelle will be reduced to only one lane on both Friday, July 14, and Monday, July 17, according to the New York Thruway Authority. The lane closures will span from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days, officials said, adding that the closures will facilitate bridge construction. After more than two years, a multi-million dollar bridge replacement project over I-95 has been completed in Westchester near the Connecticut state line. Molinaro Calls For Federal Investigation Of New TZB Project After Second Span Opening Postponed
The timing for the planned and now postponed opening of the Westchester-bound span of the new Tappan Zee Bridge was rushed by Gov.
