Officers responded to a call of a domestic dispute around 7:45 a.m., Friday, Aug. 30, said the Riverhead Police. Former Westchester HS Baseball Standout Named Scout Of Year For Arizona Diamondbacks Chris Carminucci, a former varsity baseball standout in Northern Westchester, was named the first recipient of the Arizona Diamondbacks Kevin Towers Scout of the Year Award. Carminucci, who attended John Jay High School in Cross River, was an all-section and all-county player who was named The Patent Trader’s Player of the Month. After high school, Carminucci was awarded a baseball scholarship to Concordia College in Bronxville. Upon completing his freshman year, he transferred to LaGrange College in Georgia.
