White Plains Youth Soccer Hosts Spring Tourney

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The White Plains Youth Soccer Association is hosting its first annual Spring Tiger Tune-Up Tournament beginning March 31 at three local venues.

According to WPYSA Spokesperson and Co-Tournament Director Alejandro Galeano (with George Caceres), the tournament will include 70 teams and will be played at Saxon Woods Field, George Washington School and White Plains High School.

All proceeds from the tournament will go to the club’s scholarship fund for children with financial needs.

WPYSA is a not-for-profit tax-exempt organization and registered member of the Westchester Youth Soccer League (WYSL), an official league sanctioned by the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association serving more than 600 children from White Plains and the surrounding communities.

WPYSA includes 37 soccer teams that include age group teams ranging from under-9 boys and girls travel teams playing in the WYSL up to U-19 boys and girls teams playing in the WYSL as well as in premier soccer leagues competing all over the East Coast.
