Stepinac Lacrosse Delivers Victory at Pearl River

PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – Spencer O’Toole scored a game-high five goals and Andrew Murray added two scores Wednesday as the Archbishop Stepinac boys’ lacrosse team rolled to a 9-4 victory at Pearl River High School.

The Crusaders (2-2) led by a single goal (2-1) after the first quarter before exploding for five goals in the second quarter to open a 7-2 halftime lead.

Chrystian Lopez, Nick Shaw and Sal Pellone each scored a goal and Dom Vallario and Davon Johnson had assists to help the Crusaders offense.

Stepinac goaltender Bobby DiNapoli allowed four goals and recorded 16 saves in going the distance in the net.
