TROY, N.Y. – The Irvington girls’ basketball team left no doubt about its claim on the Class B state championship, defeating two previously unbeaten teams back to back Friday and Saturday to claim its third straight New York State Public Schools title in Saturday’s  convincing 69-42 victory over upstate South Jefferson at Hudson Valley Community College.
