WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. Even though the high school wrestling season concluded, some of Section 1s elite wrestlers still are competing.
New York State finalists Sam Speno, of Fox Lane, and Jacob Berkowitz, from Scarsdale, highlight a Section 1 contingent that will be competing in the 2012 Flo Nationals Wrestling Championship this weekend at Drexel University.
Joining Speno and Berkowitz, who both will attend Binghamton this fall and wrestle, are Ardsleys Drew Longo, Yorktowns quartet of Steven Sabella, Joe Mastro, Jimmy Kaishian and Kyle Santucci, Fox Lanes Ben Ettlinger and Colin Hopkins from Edgemont.
