Ramp Between I-87, Saw Mill River Parkway To Close For Several Days In Elmsford

Motorists are being alerted that a ramp in Westchester leading from Interstate 87 to a busy parkway will shut down for several days.

The ramp leading from I-87 to the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Elmsford will close for five days.

The ramp from Interstate 87 to Exit 8A (northbound Saw Mill River Parkway) in Elmsford will close beginning on Friday, Dec. 15, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. 

The closure will then continue until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20, officials said.

The five-day closure is to allow for ramp maintenance. Motorists are asked to instead use the posted detour to State Route 119 as an alternate route.
