White Plains Man Faces DWI Charge After Greenburgh Crash

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- A 35-year-old White Plains man is facing a misdemeanor aggravated driving while intoxicated charge after Greenburgh police spotted him driving a heavily damaged car Monday, Aug. 1, on Dobbs Ferry Road, police said.

Vince E. Christie of Lake Street, White Plains, was released pending a future court date in Greenburgh Town Court on the misdemeanor DWI charge, police said.

After noticing the car's damage at about 11 p.m. Monday, police stopped to investigate. Officers determined the car had just been in an accident, then interviewed and tested the driver for alcohol, police said.
