A Rockland County man is in trouble with the law in Greenburgh after being accused of rape and robbery at a hotel.
Officials from the Greenburgh Police Department announced on Wednesday that Spring Valley resident Tony Efese, 24, has been charged with felony counts of first-degree rape and robbery after a 21-year-old woman reported she was accosted at an Elmsford hotel to police.
According to police, on Jan. 4, the accuser was staying at the La Quinta hotel on Saw Mill River Road in Elmsford when she reported she had been raped and robbed at the location by Efese.
