ELMSFORD, N.Y. - Nicola (Nino) Bonanni of Elmsford died Aug. 20. He was 76.
Bonanni was born June 24, 1937, in Trieste, Italy, to Domenico and Domenica. In 1960, after marriage he immigrated to Yonkers. He spent the next 31 years working for General Motors, driving limousines for his family owned business, and repairing televisions as well.
Bonanni is survived by his wife, Maria; sons, Domenic and Paul; daughter-in-law, Stefania; three grandchildren; and sisters, Angelina and Donatella. He was predeceased by his brother, Donato.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Sinatra Memorial Home 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY 10704. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Park Hill Ave., Yonkers. Entombment at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to White Plains Hospital in memory of Nicola Bonanni.
