HARTSDALE, N.Y. Kathleen T. Kelly, a former Hartsdale resident, died July 31 at Nyack Hospital, with family by her side. She was 79.
Kelly was born Sept. 28, 1932, in Bronx, N.Y., to Edward J. and Julia Fitzgerald Kelly. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Manhattan and attended Pace University. She was employed as an administrative assistant at Equitable Life Insurance Company for many years.
She served on her co-op board in Hartsdale, was a devout Catholic and had a strong attachment to her Irish roots.
Kelly is survived by two sisters-in-law, Helen Kelly and Rita Kelly; 13 nieces and nephews, and cousins in New York and Ireland. She was predeceased by three brothers, Thomas, William and Edward.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, N.Y. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church in Hartsdale.
