ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- Corsignana Marzella of Elmsford died Sunday, Sept. 7. She was 82.
Marzella was born April 26, 1932, in Giovinazzo, Bari, Italy, to Tommaso Illuzzi and Rosaria Gagliardi Illuzzi.
Marzella is survived by her daughter, Antonia Marzella (Joseph) Newbury of Irvington; son, Nicola (Josephine) Marzella of White Plains; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Giuseppe Marzella; and a son, Tommaso.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, Elmsford Chapel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford. Entombment will follow in the Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale.
