GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Greenburgh and Westchester County Police conducted a search of schools in the Greenburgh Central School District after a bomb threat was reported Tuesday morning.

The search came up negative, and students are returning to classes for normal dismissal.

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The Greenburgh Central School District has evacuated school buildings at 475 West Hartsdale Ave. after receiving a bomb threat Tuesday morning.

Greenburgh Police said they were notified of the threat at approximately 10 a.m. and are being assisted by the Westchester County Police bomb squad in the search of the buildings, which include Woodlands Middle School and Woodlands High School.

The students are currently being staged out of the buildings, police said. 

Traffic to the school is being diverted, residents are requested to avoid the area until further notice.
