The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 31-year-old Andrew Zambrano, who has moved from Elmsford to a residence on Saw Mill River Road in Ardsley.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Zambrano as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Zambrano sexually abused his victim and had sexual contact with her in September 2013. He was arrested by the Poughkeepsie Town Police Department and sentenced to 90 days in local jail in April 2016. He is now under the jurisdiction of the Peekskill City Police Department.

In 2017, Zambrano was arrested by police in Dutchess County for lying about where he was living.

Further info on Zambrano from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services can be accessed after entering the code in the CAPTCHA box found by clicking here.
