Public's Assistance Sought In ID'ing Suspect In Central Avenue Bank Robbery

The Yonkers Police Department Detective Division is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a bank robbery suspect.

The suspect entered the Atlantic Bank located at 2320 Central Park Ave.and passed a note to a teller at approximately 5:5- p.m. on Friday, March 18, police said.

The suspect fled the bank on foot to an unknown location with approximately $6,000 in cash. An extensive search was conducted in the area by numerous patrol units, but the suspect was not located.

Detectives are actively investigating this robbery at this time. The YPD Detective Division has obtained security video of this robbery and we are asking the public to assist in identifying this suspect.
