ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- Louis Berger's Elmsford office participated in a three-month volunteering initiative as part of the company's 60th anniversary.
Some of the volunteer events included:

- Employees volunteered to assemble a solar power unit to be used in conjunction with an independent WiFi hotspot system to provide resilient (independent from the power grid), free or discounted public internet access in Lower Manhattan.
- Employees participated in a Back-to-School Program supplying clothing, a backpack and school supplies to a 5-year old boy to attend kindergarten.
In addition to Elmsford, Louis Berger’s offices around the globe participated in the challenge.
