Forest Yin Spa will reopen its doors on Jan. 9, according to a lohud report, following a ruling by a state judge on Thursday as the owners and town continue to battle in court.
In 2013, Forest Yin was one of several massage parlors that were shut down in Greenburgh as part of an undercover operation into “unauthorized practice of a profession.” Its license was revoked earlier this month to operate in town, though the owners have been fighting in court.
According to the lohud report, “Greenburgh officials contend that massage parlors that do not operate within the law, particularly those involved in prostitution, have no place in town.” Nearly a dozen other massage parlors have been shut down in town in recent years.
