If you watch the Food Network and wish you could slice and dice like the professionals, now is your chance to learn as Hartsdale's Chef Central welcomes culinary artist Sara Moulton.
Beginning at 3 p.m., Moulton will lead a cooking demonstration, making beer-battered sautéed shrimp with homemade tartar sauce and fruit pot stickers. Patrons can learn some tricks of the trade and taste Moulton's creations. A book signing will follow.
"She's very personable," said Vincent Brown, Chef Central's Hartsdale store manager. "She's like a normal person and easy to get along with. Some of these chefs are a little difficult, but Moulton is very easygoing and outgoing."
Moulton is a former Food Network star, currently the host of "Sara's Weeknight Meals" on PBS.
Her line of cookware is sold at Chef Central, and between the Hartsdale and New Jersey locations, She has visited nearly a dozen times, said Brown.
