GREENBURGH, N.Y. - Rainfall caused flooding on Warehouse Lane Wednesday just off Saw Mill River Road. Greenburgh police arrived at the site of the flood at about 6:30 p.m.
Police placed road flares at each end of Warehouse Lane as traffic splashed through the giant puddles that spilled onto Saw Mill River Road.
Officer Richard Morales of the Greenburgh Police Department stood at the scene and waited for state officials to arrive.
"The state has been notified and they are going to put up some barriers and cones to assist with the flow of traffic," Morales said.
Morales said he did not know how long it would take to clear the water.
