SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Three county residents were honored for their environmental efforts by the Federated Conservationists of Westchester County on June 12.

Dani Glaser, CEO of Green Team Spirit and chair of the Westchester Green Business Challenge; Thomas Madden, commissioner of the Department of Community Development and Conservation for the town of Greenburgh; and Ty Ingram, a senior at White Plains High School were recognized at the Davis RiverWalk Center in Sleepy Hollow.

The award ceremony, which took place at the FCWC’s 49th annual gathering, followed a business meeting to re-elect the class of 2017 board members, which is composed of Carole Griffiths, Jason Klein, Mindy Swope Quintero, Norturd Spero and incoming officers.

The FCWC is a nonprofit conservation group composed of individual and organizational members dedicated to making the county’s environment more sustainable, according to a press release.
