Elmsford Flags To Fly Half-Staff For Fallen State Trooper

ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- Elmsford flags are set to fly at half-staff on Thursday in honor of fallen New York State Police Trooper David W. Cunniff.

Cunniff, 35, of Duanesburg, N.Y., died Tuesday, Dec. 17, as a result of severe injuries sustained during a traffic accident on the New York State Thruway near Amsterdam, N.Y. His patrol vehicle was struck from behind by a tractior-trailer.
