HARTSDALE, N.Y. - Michael J. Maroni, of Hartsdale, died March 1 at the age of 66.
The son of Carlo and Florence Bormann Maroni, he was born Jan. 19, 1946. Maroni worked as an investigator for Allstate Insurance for 35 years until retiring in 2003. He was also an esteemed member of the Iona College Goal Club.
Maroni is survived by his mother Florence of Mogehan Lake, his brother Paul Maroni of Somers, two nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his father Carlo and his sister Mary Maroni.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. The funeral mass takes place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church in Hartsdale with interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
