Jon Snow the cat was found abandoned in a pet carrier, said Pamela Piragnoli, cat manager at Paws Crossed.
"As you can imagine, he was very timid and scared," she said. "With much love, a good dinner and a warm bed to curl up in, within a day, he had come out of his shell and now manages to charm everyone he meets with his strikingly handsome good looks and gentle personality."
The cat, said to be just over a year old, can be adopted at Paws Crossed Animal Rescue on Warehouse Lane South, according to the organization.
