Speakers for the program include:
Alyssa Cobb, the assistant commissioner for Parklands and Planning for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation who will discuss sustainable initiatives in New York City Parks; Anne Jaffee-Holmes, director of conservation and sustainability education at the Greenburgh Nature Center who will highlight ‘green’ actions taken at Greenburgh Nature Center; Ron Schulhof and Michelle Sterling of the Scarsdale Forum Sustainability Committee who will present on the development of an "ECO-comfort station" facility on the Scarsdale Middle School campus serving the school fields and tennis courts.
A panel discussion with a question-and-answer session will follow the formal presentations.
