Schools Placed On Lockout After Shooting At Historic Estate In Region A suspect is behind bars after a shooting in the Capital District that forced several schools into a lockout. In Columbia County, crews in the town of Clermont were called to Woods Road on Friday, June 10, after reports of a shooting, according to New York State Police. Arriving officers found one victim with injuries who was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said. The extent of their injuries is unclear.
