Jaws Of Life Used To Extricate Person After Car Crashes Near House In Danbury A person had to be extricated from a vehicle that was seriously damaged after crashing into several objects before landing just a few feet from a house in Danbury. Police units arrived first on West Street near Pleasant Street just east of I-84 early Saturday morning, April 6 to find one victim entrapped in a car, and a second person who had gotten out of the vehicle, said James Gagliardo, public information officer of the Danbury Fire Department.
