Man Sexually Abused 12-Year-Old Girl In Region, Sent Her 'Indecent' Material, Police Say A 19-year-old man from the region is facing charges after allegedly sexually abusing a young girl. Warren County resident Leon Carney, of Warrensburg, was arrested Thursday, June 8 following an investigation by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. According to investigators, Carney was found to have had sexual contact with a 12-year-old girl in the village of Victory Mills in May 2023. He also sent the child “indecent material” through a social networking app, deputies said. 'Cold, Hungry, Thirsty': Lost Students Rescued Hours After Bus Leaves Them In Adirondacks Two college students in New York had to be rescued by state Forest Rangers after getting left behind in the woods of the Adirondacks while on a day retreat. Emergency crews in Warren County were called at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, with reports that two students were lost near Dippikill Pond, located about 10 miles northwest of the town of Warrensburg. 39-Year-Old Killed After ATV Crash In Region A 39-year-old man has died following an ATV crash in the Capital District. New York State Police said troopers in Warren County were called to the town of Horicon at around 8 p.m. Saturday, July 16, with reports that an ATV rider had wrecked on Hayesburg Road. Medics transported the rider to Glens Falls Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. He was identified as Warren County resident Conor Kealy, of Warrensburg.
