Severe Deterioration Closes Mill Lane Bridge In Pleasant Valley The Mill Lane Bridge in the Town of Pleasant Valley has been closed to all traffic, the Dutchess County Department of Public Works announced on Wednesday, March 27. This closure is the result of a New York State Department of Transportation inspection, which found “severe deterioration” of the bridge’s steel girders. The bridge, which is located toward the southern end of Mill Lane at the Parksville Road and Drake Road intersection, has a daily traffic count of around 140 vehicles.
