A 30-year-old woman has been identified as the victim of a wrong-way driver fatal crash on I-84 in the Hudson Valley. A tractor-trailer driver who suffered severe burns in a bridge strike and explosion in the region has been criminally charged. The Schenectady County incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, in Glenville on Maple Avenue. A woman whose vehicle became disabled on I-84 in Fairfield County before she was struck by a tractor-trailer has died from her injuries. Pickup Truck Driver Had BAC Three Times Legal Limit In Crash With Tractor-Trailer, Police Say
A motorist was driving with a blood-alcohol concentration more than three times the legal limit when his pickup truck crashed into a tractor-trailer in the area, police say.
