Putnam Sheriff Reports On Number Of Gun, Drug Arrests For November
Hard work on behalf of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office the county has ended with fewer drugs and guns on the streets. According to Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley, Jr., during the month of November, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit made a total of nine arrests. The arrests include: Four arrests for possession of heroin. Four arrests resulted in the seizure of 500 Xanax tablets and concentrated cannabis. East Fishkill PD Holds Active Shooter Training At John Jay HS
East Fishkill Police Department recently completed its annual active shooter / active violence response training. The training was conducted throughout the week at John Jay High school. Agencies involved included the Putnam County Sheriff Department, Town of Kent Police Department, Town of Carmel Police Department, Village of Cold Spring Police Department and the Village of Brewster Police Department. DNA Match Leads To Burglary Arrest In Area
A man who fled after he was caught in the act robbing a Putnam County home last year has been tracked down by police and arrested for burglary, officials announced this week. Investigators from the Town of Kent Police Department announced on Wednesday that they have arrested 46-year-old Andrew Hickey, who police say is homeless, and charged him with second-degree burglary dating back to an incident in February, 2017.
