She died "peacefully surrounded by family" at White Plains Hospital on Thursday, Aug. 24, following a yearlong battle with ovarian cancer, according to her obituary. While New York teacher Dan Wohl may have been surprised that he made it onto Jeopardy!, his students certainly were not. A mother and daughter from Westchester County have achieved something together that not many children do with their parents - they have finished their first book. Dana Forman, a second-grade teacher in Larchmont, and her 16-year-old daughter, Sasha, co-authored the children's book "The Hoop Troop," which centers on two third-graders learning how to dance with a hoop and overcoming their self-doubt to do so, according to Forman. Elaine Kelleher, a 50-year resident of Katonah, died at her home while surrounded by family on Saturday, Aug. 13, following a brief illness, according to her obituary.
