The incident took place around 1:45 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17, at the intersection of White Schoolhouse Road and Slate Quarry Road, Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said. Those traveling through that area were advised to use caution and allow for extra time, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office said. The crash occurred in the afternoon, and was a fatality involving a propane truck and a passenger vehicle.
