Wappingers CSD Issues Alert After Luring Incident With SUV Driver, Girls An alert was sent to parents of students after a man approached two students at a bus stop in the area. According to the alert from the Wappinger Central School District, the incident took place around 7:57 a.m. Friday when the two female Sheafe Road Elementary School students walking to the bus stop noticed a dark gray Subaru Outback parked in a local business, on Route 9 near Wenliss Terrace. As they walked past the vehicle, the occupant asked "if they needed a ride to school?" As soon as the students arrived at school safely, they reported the incident to Sheafe Road Principal …
