Woman Ejected After Vehicle With Three Occupants Crashes Into Trees In Dutchess, Sheriff Says Investigators say “fatigue” may have caused a Hudson Valley driver to lose control of a car and crash into a wooded area early Wednesday, July 13, sending three people to the hospital. The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened just after 3 a.m. in the Town of LaGrange on Route 55 near Sedgewick Road. A preliminary investigation found that a 2011 Honda Accord was traveling westbound on Route 55 when the driver lost control and drove off the roadway before striking several trees, police said.
